Shopmobility
Over 1000 disabled people can now regularly access Walthamstow town centre to socialise and shop. Read More>>

A brand new centre which enables hundreds of families, disabled and non-disabled children to play and learn together thanks to capital funding from NOW. Read More>>

Community Health and Wellbeing
Walthamstow’s Kelmscott Leisure Centre is home to Healthy Living, a NOW funded initiative that has helped over 2,500 people with heart and other health problems to become healthier, fitter and stronger – including one heart attack victim who became a medal winning rower. Read More>>

Women across the NOW area are starting their own businesses thanks to a NOW funded project that helps women start companies and help each other. Read More>>

Waltham Forest Community Credit Union
All Walthamstow residents can now access professional financial services, save money and access loans via WFCCU's NOW funded high street premises. WFCCU's service is of particular use to those people unable to open accounts with high street banks or building societies. Read More>>

Industry and manufacturing play an important role within the NOW area's economy. NOW understands this importance and is helping attract businesses into the area and create jobs via the NOW funded Industrial Area Improvements Programme (IAIP). Read More>>
