To use Shopmobility, all you need is three ID
documents as proof of address. Training for scooters is provided and, if you
give a couple of days notice, Shopmobility can arrange for a volunteer to help
with your shopping.

An annual Christmas shopping
event has been organised every year.
In 2004, over 200 Shopmobility users
and 100 volunteers took part. |

In January 2005, Shopmobility
organised a variety show for its users
to celebrate the New Year and enable
elderly and disabled people to get together
in style. Acts, ranging from comedians,
banjo players and a soprano - all from
Brick Lane Music Hall - performed to
over 200 Shopmobility users. |
