5 September 2005, Walthamstow: All Walthamstow residents are being invited to attend New Opportunities for Walthamstow Community Forum. It will be an opportunity for anyone living in Walthamstow to find out how the Forum can help on any issues of concern to them.

NOW Community Forum takes place on:
Date: Monday 26 September
Time: 1800hrs until 2000hrs
Venue: Community Place, 806 Leyton High Road, E10 6AE
(opposite Tesco/Bakers Arms)

The Forum will be chaired by Mohammed Qureshi. Cllr Milton Martin, Mayor of Waltham Forest will also be in attendance.

NOW Community Forum is the result of the NOW Street Survey which took place in May 2005. The Street Survey canvassed the opinion of Walthamstow residents on a variety of issues including transport, crime, education, young people and housing. Feedback from the Street Survey showed that residents did not feel they had sufficient opportunity for their opinion to be heard. NOW Community Forum aims to give residents this opportunity in an informal open meeting.
