school children's attainment and revamped

provide benefit as the diverse range of projects
it funded are still working hard to help the
area and local people. Examples include:

The Limes Community
and Children's Centre: The first
community centre of its kind in Walthamstow
opened in June 2004 and is used by over
300 families each week.

Shopmobility: Assisting
disabled and visually impaired residents
to get the most out of Walthamstow's
town centre. Since 1999, over 1,185
residents have been able to access shops
and market traders on a regular basis.

Walthamstow's Kelmscott Leisure Centre
is home to Healthy Living, a NOW funded
initiative that has helped over 2,500
people to become healthier, fitter and
